As a native of Old Town, Alexandria, Renée McMahan brings local knowledge and a deep understanding of the area's unique charm to her role as a real estate professional. Growing up in this vibrant community has provided Renée with an unparalleled insight into the diverse neighborhoods, historical significance, and architectural nuances that define the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. real estate landscape.

After graduating from Waynesburg University with a B.A. in Public Relations and Marketing, Renée has spent the last 12 years exceeding the expectations of her clients. Prior to her real estate career, Renée successfully managed and grew a local boutique in Old Town, Alexandria to receive national recognition and achieve the highest sales volume to-date. These experiences in the fashion and design industry allow her to uniquely stage and market a client’s home for today’s savvy buyers. Her sharp business expertise guarantees that her team's operations run efficiently, ensuring a seamless real estate experience for every client, from the initial meeting to well beyond the home closing.

Renée married into a family of avid DIYers with exceptional experience in building and designing homes. Having undertaken numerous renovation projects for both personal and investment properties, Renée has the unique ability to envision a home’s true potential. And she knows how to smoothly manage the renovation process to provide an enjoyable experience for her clients. Outside of work, you can find Renée knee-deep in a remodeling project with her husband Derek, who is a Captain with the DC Fire Department. Her two young children, Lucy and Henry are her world and are a daily reminder as to why transitioning her client's to the next stage is an immense responsibility that she takes very personally.

Having grown up in Northern Virginia gives her first-hand knowledge of the neighborhoods and communities you're thinking of calling home.
